Francisco Ruiz
Francisco is the originator and motivating force behind Brutal Vintage. Francisco is quite an obsessive and determined perfectionist when it comes to things he’s passionate about. Antique and vintage pieces are certainly among them.
Francisco met Alan Noel 20 years ago, when Alan restored several European antiques Francisco had inherited and brought to the USA from family back in Spain. Over the years Francisco acquired and sold several more pieces, with Alan advising him every step of the way, and more recently with Brian’s team helping as well.
Long story short: with a shared passion for great vintage craftsmanship and the enabling possibilities of software and technology, the idea of Brutal Vintage was born.
Francisco is a software engineer by training but also a former McKinsey consultant, a software startup veteran, and a marketing technology expert. In the past 12 years he started two successful consulting firms and focused on helping large companies define their overall marketing strategies. He also helps clients execute their strategies using a variety of marketing automation technologies.
Francisco is a citizen of both Spain and the USA and is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese. He was born in Madrid and lived in Brasilia from ages 10-18. He now lives in Atlanta but spends as much time as possible in New York City.
