Primitive Pie Safe c. 1900

Description

Here’s an early 20th Century American classic – you may find a lot of pie safes out there, but probably few as nice as this one.

Made of tulip poplar with two top doors and sides with replaced screen inserts plus one drawer and two lower doors all with original pulls and turn buckles. The top section has two shelves, the bottom has one.

This piece is sure to add vintage character to your home.  But don’t just buy it:  use it!  A great example of distinctive yet functional and practical vintage furniture.
